Editor - Monthly Newsletter
The Centeral Delaware Civil War Round Table's birth began with a small notice in the newspaper asking people interested in studying the Civil War to meet at a local restaurant in Dover in August 1992.
Today the group meets monthly on the third Monday of each month at the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Ave., Dover, DE. Diner costs $16 per person. Please make reservations by the Friday before the meeting. Call (302) 697-1050.
Our group of more than 100 members has over the years donated more than $10,000 toward Civil War preservation. Membership reaches from Wilmington to Bethany Beach. Members also drive over from the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Many of the original members who sustained theorganization in its formative years have moved on. Like any army, faces often change. We always make room in the ranks for more.
Annual membership dues ($15 per person or $25 per family) help to sustain the organization and ensure receipt of the monthly newsletter and other relevant mailings.
Renewal is due June 30th of each year.
